Good news for advertisers! Bing Ads is launching "automatic import to synchronize Adwords campaigns. Which means that you now be able to automatically update your imported Google campaigns in Bing on an ongoing basis.

We were already very happy with Bing's 'Google Import' feature, which allowed you to transfer your existing Adwords campaigns to Bing Ads. But now 'Automatic Import' makes it even more attractive to deploy the platform alongside Google Adwords.

What is "Automatic Import?

With Automated Import, you no longer have to remind yourself to copy an Adwords ad into Bing. It will be automatically imported when you schedule it, including any adjustments you still make in Adwords to text and budgets etc.

You can schedule the import yourself, this can be on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

The image above shows an example of how to set up an import. At 'Import options' you can indicate which data you want to add from Adwords, such as new ad groups, ads, keywords, campaign budgets, etc. These will be automatically synchronized to Bing ads at your convenience.

In an overview of your scheduled imports, you can see which campaigns need to be synchronized. You can also pause or delete the scheduled imports, if necessary.

Of course, you won't want every campaign in Adwords also in Bing. But if you have limited resources, this feature helps if you do and it ensures that you actually have your ads always right up to date without effort.
