The IT revolution is driving big changes within the sports industry. In America, 95% of baseball stadiums are already equipped with Beacons, major parties such as Youtube, Twitter and Periscope are betting big on live streaming of sports, and 50% of companies in America are doing marketing automation. This, along with social trends, is creating new competition from a different quarter. This makes it inevitable for companies to scrutinize and change their marketing strategy. And this will be the focus of attention on March 17.

Ex-top athletes Matthijs Vink and Dirk Tuip, owners of the performance online (B2B) marketing agency SearchUser, took the initiative to inspire the (sports) industry. In cooperation with Google, the NHV, Cocoa From Ghana and the Municipality of Almere, they are organizing a major online marketing event for the sports industry on March 17 in the Topsportcentrum Almere. Reach, marketing automation and conversion

Together with a team of 20 marketers, Dirk and Matthijs ensure daily that B2B clients get more business from their websites and social. They know how to translate their knowledge and experience to the sport. They have already proven their expertise within sports with the Dutch Handball Women and Marathon.nl.

"We want to make (B2B) companies, clubs, associations, brands and web shops aware of the importance and possibilities of online media. You can generate much more traffic than you probably think. To then use marketing automation and get your digital fan/customer to convert faster," Matthijs said.

During the event "The Future of Online Marketing," Dirk and Matthijs will share their knowledge.

Partners and speakers

Dirk and Matthijs are not the only speakers. The other partners will also speak and share their knowledge and experiences.
