Collecting more reviews? Google introduces QR code for direct feedback

Collecting more reviews? Google introduces QR code for direct feedback

Getting online reviews can be a challenge. Customers often want to leave a review but either can't find the form or get distracted. Google Business Profiles now has a solution for this: a QR code that leads directly to the review form.

How does it work?

Companies can easily find the QR code in their Google Business Profile via desktop. Search for the business name, go to reviews or navigate to the review section and select 'Get more reviews'. The QR code is displayed here.

The impact on businesses

Positive reviews help businesses become more visible in Google Search and Maps. Customers often rely on reviews when making their choices, meaning a higher number of positive reviews can lead to increased revenue. The use of the QR code makes it easier for satisfied customers to provide feedback without having to scroll through other reviews first.

Practical applications

Companies can print the QR code and display it in their store, add it to their website, or incorporate it into emails. This lowers the barrier for customers and increases the likelihood of valuable feedback. However, it is important to follow Google's guidelines when collecting reviews.

Google is now making it easier to gather customer feedback without distractions. By strategically using the QR code, companies can receive more positive reviews and strengthen their online reputation.
