Direct reports in DV360 now accessible via Bid Manager API

Google makes Display & Video 360’s (DV360) direct reports accessible via the Bid Manager API. This is part of the transition from offline to online reporting, which will take place over the coming months. Once a partner migrates, direct reports will be available through the queries.list API endpoint.

Importance for advertisers

This change means that advertisers can obtain real-time or near-real-time reporting data. Instead of waiting for offline or batch reports, they can now conduct analyses more quickly and optimize campaigns. As a result, they make faster and more efficient decisions.

Details of the change

The following changes will take place:

Existing Reports:

Standard, reach, YouTube, and URA reports are only available under the Instant Reporting tab. The existing query and report IDs remain the same.

New Reports:

All new standard, reach, YouTube, and URA reports must be created under the Instant Reporting tab.

Migration process:

Google carries out the migration in batches per partner. This means that all reports for a partner are migrated simultaneously.

API Integration:

After migration, advertisers can access direct reports via the queries.list API endpoint.

Support and solutions

For general migration inquiries, advertisers can use the standard DV360 support form. Specific API-related issues should be reported through the new technical support form for the Bid Manager API.

The API integration allows advertisers to access DV360's real-time reporting data programmatically. This leads to better analyses and optimizations. As a result, advertisers operate more directly and efficiently within the advertising ecosystem.
