Are you ready for a more efficient way to manage your Google Ads? Google is currently testing a new dashboard within Google Ads that offers advertisers more control and oversight.
Google has confirmed that they are experimenting with a new overview dashboard in the Google Ads console for a select number of advertisers. This dashboard resembles the current one but allows you to choose which data you want to see. You can also view more data in a carousel layout.
Anthony Higman, who noticed this change, shared some screenshots. He explained: "You can select ALL metrics and then click through other elements in the overview slider." He noted: "It seems they are also working on time segmentation directly from the overview." Google’s Ads Liaison Ginny Marvin responded to
and neither confirmed nor denied that this is a test: “We regularly experiment and currently have nothing more to share.”
Why is this important? If this new feature is rolled out more broadly, it could result in significant time savings for advertisers using Google Ads. While the standard data in this dashboard is useful, every advertiser may want to see different data in the way they prefer. This would therefore be a welcome addition to Google Ads.
