Google Analytics 4 is being updated: exclusive features for 360 customers

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is continuously innovating and introducing new customization features specifically for 360 customers. If you are still using Universal Analytics 360, now is the time to make the switch. This latest update of GA4 offers, among other things, tailored reporting and advanced BigQuery reports. The tools will be launched in the coming weeks, with more functionalities added throughout the year.

The impact of this change is significant, especially for advertisers still using Universal Analytics 360. Transitioning to GA4 is essential to gain access to these advanced reporting capabilities. These new features not only save time but also ensure consistent reporting. This enables advertisers to make data-driven decisions to achieve their media buying goals.

The new features include:

1. Customized Reporting: Available in the coming weeks. Large companies and agencies can create tailored reports that align with the needs of their various teams. This ensures faster access to insights.
2. BigQuery Reports: A faster and more comprehensive BigQuery daily export will be introduced later this year. This ensures that companies receive their data consistently on a daily basis.
3. Links and Integrations: Advertisers will have the option to link sub-properties and roll-up properties to Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360, and Search Ads 360.

These updates come at a critical time. Google is in the process of phasing out features in Universal Analytics 360 and has announced that advertisers must transition to GA4 by July 1, 2024. Universal Analytics will no longer be available for both 360 and standard customers starting June 30, 2024. From July 2024, companies will no longer be able to export or access their data from Universal Analytics. These changes underscore the necessity for companies to act quickly and transition to GA4.
