Google is introducing two new features that virtually mimic the shopping experience: a virtual fitting room for clothes and new filters for targeted searches. Starting today, American shoppers can virtually try on women's outerwear from brands such as Anthropologie, Everlane, H&M and LOFT. This is done via the "Try On" badge on Google Search. This technology, which uses Google's extensive database of products and sellers, will be expanded to more brands and items in the future.

Google is also introducing new guided refinements to help American shoppers select products more accurately. Thanks to machine learning and new visual matching algorithms, you can now search by color, style and pattern. This makes the online shopping experience as personal and accurate as in a physical store.
